Spinning plates: “Do things with passion… or not at all.” Michelin star chef Christian Bau on the art of cooking
He is a legend. He earned his first Michelin star in the very first year he operated his own restaurant. Only seven years later, he received the highest honor in the culinary world: three Michelin stars. Since 2005, Christian Bau has been cooking his way to a three-star rating every year. His restaurant, Victor’s Fine Dining, in Perl-Nennig in Saarland celebrates a cuisine that exquisitely combines French influences with the flavor landscapes, techniques and traditions of Japan. He creates unique dishes with exclusive products of the finest quality. His work has always been driven by one sentence: “Do things with passion… or not at all.” This motto also applies to the cookbook that he co-wrote with his wife Sarah, Einfach Bau: Sterneküche für zu Hause, for hobby cooks who want to prepare gourmet meals at home. An evening about the passion of cooking, the culinary arts and the joy of hosting. Host: Miguel Calero
