Benno Fürmann has been one of the most distinctive faces of German cinema for many years. Known for productions such as “North Face”, “The Princess and the Warrior”, and “Anatomy”, he impresses audience with his great emotional range and presence. Alongside his work in front of the camera, he has dedicated himself increasingly to societal and spiritual issues.
This evening, Fürmann presents the multiple award-winning documentary, AWARE – Glimpses of Consciousness, which follows leading academics and thinkers in their work on one of the most fascinating topics of our time: what is consciousness – and how can it be experienced, researched and expanded?
