About Raúl Krauthausen
Raúl is an inclusion activist, founder of the organization Sozialhelden and holds a degree in communications. For his work to promote inclusion and social engagement, he has won honors such as the Federal Cross of Merit and the Grimme Online Award. His autobiography “I Never Wanted to Be a Roofer, Anyway. Life in a Wheelchair” was published in 2014. Since 2015, he has hosted the talk show “Krauthausen – face to face” on Sport1. He regularly gives talks on the topics of inclusion, diversity and societal relations and he hosts the podcasts “Im Aufzug” and “Die neue Norm”. His podcast “Wie kann ich was bewegen?” was published as a book of the same name by Edition Körber Verlag in October 2021.
