About Jan „Monchi“ Gorkow
Monchi is the singer and songwriter of Feine Sahne Fischfilet, with whom he has made it from youth centers to the main stage of Rock am Ring since 2006. With the band, he launched the campaign “Not completely screwed yet. Stick together against the shift to the right” in 2016 and organizes his own festival in Vorpommern called “Wasted in Jarmen.” In 2018, the award-winning documentary “Wildes Herz” (Wild Heart), directed by Charly Hübner, was released, which deals with the social and political commitment of the band and Monchi's life story.
