About Kristof Magnusson
Kristof Magnusson was born in Hamburg in 1976 to German-Icelandic parents. He trained as a church musician but now works as an author and translator from Icelandic, based in Berlin. His novels “It Wasn’t Me” and “A Man of the Arts” made it to the Der Spiegel best-seller list. His comedy “Männerhort” was performed on more than 100 stages in Germany and abroad and was turned into the film “The Man Cave” starring Elyas M’Barek, Detlev Buck and Christoph Maria Herbst. His book about the Pet Shop Boys was recently published in the “Musikbibliothek” by Kiepenheuer & Witsch. In addition, Kristof Magnusson promotes literature written in simplified German.
