About Thomas Meinecke
Thomas Meinecke, born in Hamburg in 1955, is a writer, whose works include the novel Odenwald (2024). He also works as a musician—for example, with his band F.S.K. and in electronic projects with Move D.—and has worked for many years as a radio DJ for Bayerischer Rundfunk and as a club DJ. From 2007 to 2020, he curated the discussion series Plattenspieler at Hebbel am Ufer, and since 2022 at the Volksbühne. He has held numerous guest lectureships, received the Berlin Literature Prize in 2020, and his work has been published in Text + Kritik (2021) and Ozeanisch Schreiben (2022).
