About Scholastique Mukasonga
Scholastique Mukasonga, born in Rwanda, lives and works in Normandy. Her novels are published by Gallimard. She has been awarded the Prix Renaudot, the Grand Prix SGDL de la nouvelle, and the Prix Simone de Beauvoir pour la liberté des femmes, among others. Kibogo's Ascension and Sister Deborah have been published in German.
