About Maxim Leo
Maxim Leo was born in Berlin in 1970 and worked for many years as a reporter at the newspaper Berliner Zeitung. He has received multiple awards, including the Theodor Wolff Prize. Now he writes books as well as screenplays for the television series “Tatort”. He won the European Book Prize for his autobiographical novel “Red Love: The Story of an East German Family” (2009).
