Linus Geschke, born in 1970, lives in Cologne and has worked for leading German magazines and daily newspapers, including Spiegel Online and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. He has won several journalism awards for his travel reports. Geschke's debut thriller immediately made it onto the bestseller list, and his Jan Römer series has been adapted into a lavish film series. His psychological thrillers Das Loft (2022) and Der Trailer (2025) remained on the bestseller list for weeks.
