About Jussi Adler-Olsen
The writer known as Jussi Adler-Olsen was born on August 2, 1950, in Copenhagen as Carl Valdemar Jussi Henry Adler-Olsen. He studied medicine, sociology, political history and film. Before launching his career as a writer in 1995, he worked in a variety of professions, including editor for various magazines and comics, organizer in the Danish peace movement, executive publisher of Bonnier’s weekly “TV Guide” and chairman of the board of directors for various energy companies. For years, Jussi Adler-Olsen’s books have been among the best-selling books of the year in Germany.
