About Julian Barnes
Born in Leicester in 1946, Julian Barnes studied modern languages and then worked as a lexicographer and later as a journalist. He has produced an extensive body of work, both fiction and essays, including “Flaubert’s Parrot”, “A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters” and “Levels of Life”. In addition to numerous other honors, he received the Man Booker Prize for his novel “The Sense of an Ending”. Julian Barnes lives in London.
