About Jörg Brinkmann
Internationally famous cellist Jörg Brinkmann performs around the world and has expanded the scope of the cello in his very own way. Using special playing techniques, he has developed a sound that has been captured on numerous recordings with various bands. He uses the cello as a guitar, as a bass, but also as a lyrical melody instrument. He subtly and tastefully introduces electronic elements as an additional color palette. His playing and compositions are a melting pot of structure and personal variation, of smoothly crafted lyrics and vibrant rhythms.
