About Jean-Remy von Matt

Jean-Remy von Matt, born in 1952, is co-founder of the Hamburg-based advertising agency Jung von Matt, one of the best-known agencies in Germany and Europe. With campaigns for Sixt, Edeka, and Mercedes-Benz, and slogans such as “Who invented it?” and “Form your own opinion,” it has shaped German advertising for decades. The leading industry magazine W&V calls his agency group the most creative of all time. In 2018, he joined the supervisory board of Jung von Matt and has since devoted himself to conceptual art.
