Actress Iris Berben was born in Detmold in 1950, grew up in Hamburg and celebrated her television debut in 1968. She is one of the best-known and most successful actresses in the German film and television industry. She has won a number of awards, including the Grimme Award and the Bavarian Television Prize for her life’s work. Her latest projects include the television miniseries “Altes Land” and “Das Unwort” as well as the film productions “Triangle of Sadness” and “Der Nachname”. Her fascinating voice can also be heard narrating numerous audio plays and audiobooks for children and adults.
