About Eva Menasse
Eva Menasse was born in Vienna in 1970. She started her career as a journalist and released her debut novel “Vienna” in 2005. Her subsequent novels and short stories have won numerous awards and were translated into many languages. She has received the Heinrich Böll Prize, the Jonathan Swift Prize for Satire and Humor and the Austrian Book Prize. She also held a fellowship at the Villa Massimo in Rome. Eva Menasse is also focusing more on essay-writing, for which she received the Ludwig Börne Award in 2019.
