About Christoph Karrasch
For 15 years, Christoph Karrasch has been traversing the world as a travel journalist and television presenter. His features in the TV program “Galileo” explain to viewers of all ages how bananas are grown in Colombia or pepper is harvested in India. And when he feels really brave, he might just skydive in Australia or plunge into freezing cold water in Finland. Christoph has won many prizes for his projects and films. His travel book “San Francisco liegt am Rhein” [“San Francisco On the Rhine”] (2021), spent weeks on the Der Spiegel bestseller list. Now, he is also writing holiday adventures for kids with his latest book “Rio’s Magic Journeys” (2025).
