About Bernd Eilert
Born in 1949 in Oldenburg, freelance author Bernd Eilert had worked in Frankfurt since 1970 before moving back to the city of his birth in 2024. He is considered part of the “New Frankfurt School” and co-founded the satirical magazine “Titanic” (1979). He writes for film, radio, television, stage and publishing houses. His most recent publications are “Meine Ile de Ré” (2022), “Ganz große Kunst” (with Otto Waalkes, 2023), “Nachlese” (with Klaus Modick, 2024) and “Kunst in Sicht” [“Art in Sight”] (with Otto Waalkes, 2025).
