Momo, a scruffy little girl, lives at the edge of a big city in the ruins of an amphitheater. She owns nothing but what she finds or is given – plus her special talent for listening to people and giving them time. But one day, a ghostly horde of gray men arrives in the city. They are time thieves who are after people’s very lifetimes, and Momo is the only one who can stop them... Actress Maddy Forst reads Michael Ende’s world-famous classic, which has been enjoying a renaissance for some time now. This is probably due to the feeling that the gray men who want to steal humans’ time are gaining ground again. Maddy Forst has embodied the title role with her striking presence before, on stage at Schauspiel Köln. At this event, she lends Momo her impressive voice, taking us on a search for the most valuable thing people have: time.
