What happens when “the man with the beanie” and “the man with the voice” reveal their favorite books? Torsten Sträter – word artist, storyteller, master of laconic humor – talks about the books that have influenced, accompanied and possibly even changed him. Christian Brückner – voice-over artist, actor and legendary audiobook narrator – replies by letting texts speak for themselves: His readings will lead us through world literature, light reading and bizarre gems from various genres.
The result is a dialogue – between literature and life, between humor and seriousness. Together, the two men take us on a literary journey through the books of their lives – wide-ranging, clever, humorous and surprising. An evening of subtle entertainment, which quietly reminds us why good books stay with us – and why some voices are unforgettable.
