About Sabrina Schmohl
Sabrina Schmohl was born in 1986 in Mönchengladbach. She studied German literature, theater studies and German as a foreign language and has co-authored various textbooks for learners of German. While holding a fellowship at the Children’s Media Academy, she developed her first children’s book in 2023. For her second children’s book manuscript, “Bodhi, Joe and a Village Full of Ghosts”, she received the 2024 Kirsten Boie Prize from the Hamburg Literaturstiftung [Literature Foundation]. She lives with her partner and two sons in the Lower Rhine region of Germany.
