About Ragnar Jónasson
Award-winning Icelandic author Ragnar Jónasson has gained worldwide fame and sold more than 5 million books. His works include the “Hidden Iceland” series, which was a Der Spiegel bestseller in German translation, and the “Dark Iceland” series. His crime fiction has been published in 36 countries. The Times chose his mystery “The Darkness” as one of the “top 100 crime novels since 1945.” Jónasson was also a co-founder of the international crime fiction festival “Iceland Noir”. He lives and works as an author and investment banker in the Icelandic capital and teaches law at the university. In addition, he is a board member of the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra.
