About Pegah Ferydoni
Pegah Ferydoni, born in Tehran in 1983 and raised in Berlin, is an actress, presenter, and award-winning artist. She became famous in “Türkisch für Anfänger” (Turkish for Beginners) (Grimme Prize). She attracted international attention with “Women Without Men.” She has appeared in “Die defekte Katze” (Berlinale), “Der letzte Mieter” and “Stand Up” (Snowdance Award), among others. On stage, she gave convincing performances in “Schwarze Jungfrauen” and at the Maxim Gorki Theater. She is also a successful audiobook narrator (including “Am Himmel, die Flüsse”). She received the Grimme Prize in 2011 for “The Green Wave.” Most recently, she shone in “A Murder at the End of the World” and “Alaska” (2023).
