About Olli Dittrich
Olli Dittrich, a trained theater painter, is a master of transformation. The four-time Grimme Award winner is considered one of the best contemporary creators of fictional characters. His films, TV formats, and satires have been nominated and awarded dozens of times both nationally and internationally. He is also a composer, lyricist, and multi-instrumentalist with almost 2 million records sold, making him a fixture in the music business. With his most famous character, the bar philosopher “Dittsche,” Dittrich can be seen regularly on major German stages, most recently at the Elbphilharmonie and the Berliner Ensemble, among others. The almost three-hour solo performance was honored with the LEA Award in 2021.
