About Michael Petrowitz
Michael Petrowitz was born in Berlin in 1972 and studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). He has been a freelance screenwriter since 2000 and a lecturer teaching screenwriting/dramaturgy since 2008. Moreover, he was a fellow at the Screenwriter’s Workshop in Munich and a participant at the Children’s Media Academy. He won the 2005 Robert Geisendörfer Prize in the category children’s television.
