About Lara Sielmann
Lara Sielmann is a cultural journalist, literary critic, and curator. She works as a literary editor and author for Deutschlandfunk Kultur, with occasional appearances on television and in print; she regularly appears on stage as a moderator of readings and discussions. She serves as a juror for various literary awards (including the 2025 German Book Prize, the 2025 Alfred Döblin Prize, and the German Translators' Fund) and as a lecturer in “Applied Literary Studies” at the Free University of Berlin. She lives in Berlin.
