About Josephine Apraku
Josephine Apraku is an African studies specialist, author, lecturer, and trainer for intersectional anti-racist educational work. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Missy Magazine, Vogue Germany and Tagesspiegel. Most recently, she published a children’s book, “Tschüss Uroma” [“Goodbye, Great-Grandma”] (2023), which talks about death and saying farewell to the great-grandmother of an international family. In 2024, Stiftung Buchkunst celebrated “My Workbook on Racism” as one of the best-designed German books.
