About Jean-Luc Bannalec
Jean-Luc Bannalec is the nom de plume of Jörg Bong. He lives in Frankfurt am Main and in southern Finistère, France. The first eight volumes of the crime fiction series featuring the Breton investigator Commissaire Dupin were filmed for television and translated into numerous languages. In 2016, he was awarded the title of “Mécène de Bretagne” [“Patron of Brittany”] by the Brittany region. Since 2018 he has been an honorary member of the Académie littéraire de Bretagne.
