About Giovanni di Lorenzo
Born in 1959, Giovanni di Lorenzo is editor in chief of the weekly newspaper Die Zeit as well as a television presenter and author of numerous best sellers, including: “Vom Aufstieg und anderen Niederlagen” (2014) and his collaborations with former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, “A Cigarette Break with Helmut Schmidt” (2010) and “Verstehen Sie das, Herr Schmidt?” (2012), as well as with Axel Hacke “What Do You Stand For?” (2010). Di Lorenzo has won numerous honors, including a Bambi (1992), the European Press Award (2001) and the Hildegard von Bingen Prize for Journalism (2007).
