About Gianrico Carofiglio
Gianrico Carofiglio, born in Bari in 1961, worked for many years as a judge, senator, and anti-Mafia prosecutor, and became intensely involved in interrogation techniques and statement psychology at an early age. He is fascinated by the depths of the human soul, the causes of crime, the gap between truth, law, and justice, and the use and abuse of language. He also holds a 6th dan black belt in karate and is a critic of Western narcissistic culture.
