About Frank Schätzing
Frank Schätzing was born in Cologne in 1957. In 1995, he published the historical novel “Death and the Devil”, which became a bestseller. After several other publications, in spring 2004 he released the thriller “The Swarm”, which sold a total of 4.5 million copies and was translated into 27 languages. This was followed by the international best sellers “Limit” (2009), “Breaking News” (2014) and “The Tyranny of the Butterfly” (2018). Schätzing is also a successful non-fiction author: After his 2006 book on evolution, “Nachrichten aus einem unbekannten Universum”, he reached the non-fiction bestseller list again in 2021 with “What if we just save the world?”
