About Flix
Flix lives and works in Berlin as a freelance illustrator and comic-strip artist. Following numerous books, he currently publishes a weekly comic entitled “Glückskind” in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. With “Spirou in Berlin” and “Das Humboldt-Tier” in the Marsupilami series, Flix became the first German artist to create adventures for the two Franco-Belgian series. His works have been translated into nine languages and have won multiple awards. In February 2025, he curated the exhibition “UDERZO – von Asterix bis Zaubertrank” at the Museum for Communication in Berlin. “Foreverland” (2025) is his first novel.
