About Erik Zabel
Born in Berlin in 1970, Erik Zabel is a former competitive cyclist from Germany. He was one of the most successful sprinters of his time, won the green jersey six times at the Tour de France and seven times in the Milan–Sanremo race. He celebrated more than 200 professional victories during his career from 1992 until 2008. After he retired from cycling, he worked as a sports manager.
