About Boris Becker
Born in 1967 in Leimen, Boris Becker is Germany’s most successful tennis player and now works as a coach and TV commentator. He achieved a sensational Grand Slam win at Wimbledon at the age of 17 (1985), won the Davis Cup twice (1988 and 1989), was ATP World Champion three times, achieved Olympic gold in doubles and was ranked number one in the world for 12 weeks. He was named Germany’s Sportsman of the Year four times and European Sportsman of the Year twice. In 2003, Becker was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. As a coach, he supported Novak Djokovic on his way to a total of six Grand Slam wins between 2013 and 2016. Boris Becker lives in Milan.
