Ralph Caspers reads Roald Dahl: Matilda

from 9 years

Matilda is an exceptional girl. She could speak fluently at the age of one-and-a-half and taught herself to read when she was three. Since her family hates books, she borrows everything from the library. Matilda’s mind is so bright and clear that it should be obvious to even the dimmest parents. Unfortunately, Matilda’s parents are dimmer than dim. And the school principal is even worse. Miss Trunchbull hates all children and makes their lives miserable. Matilda discovers that she’s not only incredibly bright, she also has telekinetic powers. Her parents and mean Miss Trunchbull will be in for some nasty surprises. The witty and satirical story of an exceptional young person who was born into the wrong family but will not let anyone or anything hold her back.
Presenter and actor Ralph Caspers reads from Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book.
