From an early age, Dominik Bloh’s life is shaped by physical violence, theft and extortion. To escape reality and his mentally ill mother, he distracts himself with basketball, hip-hop and school. But when he gets in with the wrong crowd and they gull him into dealing drugs, he starts leading a double life. Gangsters become his heroes. His mother throws him out of the house when he is 16 and he has to learn to live on the streets. But he also learns to act with courage and, ultimately, how to change his life. This reading is being organized and presented by students from the high school Abtei Gymnasium Brauweiler as part of the “Students for Students” project. More information about this project
