OffSpring Award 2023 – Am I free? With Nadja Küchenmeister and Luise Wolfram. A competition for young writers
Am I free? This is a question asked not only by the greatest thinkers of our time, but also probably by everyone at least once in their lives. And the answers to this question can be just as diverse as they are unsatisfactory. Nevertheless, it is a question worth exploring. It can tell us how we see ourselves as individuals or even legitimize our personal actions. We are looking for the most exceptional literary answers: Interested young writers (ages 16-26) can submit a short story, essay or poem (max. five A4 pages, font size 12) by February 11 via email to offspringaward@litcologne.de. Our jury of experts will select the three most inspiring texts, which will be read live at the festival by Luise Wolfram.
The audience will decide who wins the main prize: one-on-one writing mentoring from Nadja Küchenmeister!
