Jonas Jonasson is back! And so is Allan Karlsson! The Accidental Further Adventures of the Hundred-Year-Old Man is the sequel to “The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared”, a favorite of millions of excited fans worldwide. Now the centenarian has had enough of his never-ending vacation on Bali and is delighted at the prospect of a new adventure: During a hot air balloon ride, the fuel runs out and Allan has to make an emergency landing in the sea. Luckily, he is saved. Unluckily, though, the rescue boat proves to be a North Korean warship, heading for Pyongyang, where Kim Jong-un is flexing his muscles in an atomic conflict. And now Allan, who does of course know a thing or two about atomic weapons, finds himself in the center of a complex political mission that will take him from North Korea to New York and all the way to Congo. On his mission, he also meets Donald Trump and Angela Merkel ...
