Maxim Leo (“It's Just a Phase, Honeybunny”) has written a deliciously satirical novel: Der Held vom Bahhof Friedrichsstrasse [“The Hero of Friedrichsstrasse Station”]. It’s about a man who becomes an unwitting hero 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, because it’s thought that he redirected a local train to the West, enabling a mass exodus.
