Emergency. Sea. Rescue. With Tobias Schlegl
In 2016, following a successful career as a television presenter – first on music channel Viva, later on the satire show “extra 3” and the culture program “aspekte” – Tobias Schlegl began training to become a paramedic. In the early summer of 2021 he spent several weeks on board the ship Sea-Eye 4, searching for people in distress at sea on the world’s most lethal migration route. In his journal he reports on the daily tragedies off the Mediterranean coast. Host: Joachim Frank
