Martin Suter und Ronja von Rönne gehen diskret digital

Whether presenting his art dealer character Almen or one of his other great books, Martin Suter always seeks out his readers after the solitary writing process is over. Recently, he has also become a presence online. The master of discretion suddenly loves social media: He tweets rhymes on Twitter and runs a website with exclusive content. We have to ask: Why? This question never even arises for Ronja von Rönne, a writer, journalist, presenter and blogger who is more than 40 years younger than Suter. She apparently holds nothing back as she shares her life with the public. In her disarming and charming style, she talks about her depression, new loves, writer’s block and other problems. And despite being a digital native, she competed for the Bachmann Prize in Klagenfurt, the pinnacle of analogue literary presentation. It promises to be an exciting encounter exploring the topics of discretion and public disclosure, the platforms of Twitter and Instagram, and writing – online or offline. Host: Louis Klamroth
