Édouard Louis pays homage to his father. With Sabin Tambrea

French|German

“I don’t have a single happy memory of my childhood”, he wrote in his celebrated 2014 debut, “The End of Eddy”. Since then, Édouard Louis has been questioning his memory: In Who Killed my Father? he begins to understand his father’s anger as an attempt to escape social injustice. He begins to recognize his father as a man who wants nothing more than to see his son rise above his humble beginnings. Host: Carine Debrabandère
