Susanne Wolff began her theater career at Thalia Theater in Hamburg and moved with Ulrich Khuon in 2009 to Deutsches Theater in Berlin. She has not only played the great women’s roles “Nora”, “Penthesilea”, “Hedda Gabler” and “Mary Stuart”, she has also starred as the protagonist in “Othello” and “Macbeth”. In 2003, she received the 3sat Prize for her portrayal of Nora and in 2006 she was awarded the Rolf Mares Prize from the theaters of Hamburg. In 2013, she won the German Television Award for Nicole Weegmann’s “Mobbing”. The series “Morgen hör ich auf” with Bastian Pastewka and Susanne Wolff in the leading roles won the 2017 Golden Camera. For her role in the refugee drama “STYX”, Susanne Wolff was awarded the METROPOLIS and the Günter Rohrbach Film Prize for Best Actress in 2018.
