Jochen Rausch is a writer, journalist and musician. A Grimme Prize laureate, he has created radio plays, audio books such as “Lindenbergtracks” with Udo Lindenberg and “Fausertracks” based on poems by Jörg Fauser, as well as the novels “Restlicht” (2008), “Krieg” (2013), and the short-story collections “Trieb” (2011) and “Rache” (2015). His miniatures “Im Taxi” appeared in 2017. “Krieg” was made into a film by ARD starring Ulrich Matthes. The film premiered at the 2017 Biennale in Venice. Rausch is Assistant Radio Director of WDR and programme director of the stations 1Live, WDR2 and WDR4.
