Jean Peters, born in 1984, studied political studies and is a trained children’s clown. He is an active performance artist, writes for the comedy TV show Neo-Magazin Royale and in 2013 founded the Peng Collective for civil disobedience and subversion. In his work he combines performance-art techniques and media installations with classic campaign work and investigative research. With Peng he has infiltrated the media work of companies such as Shell, Google and Vattenfall, called for inner-European border-crossing assistance and founded a temporary association to support members of the secret service who are wanting to quit.
