Born in 1971 in Toronto, Benjamin Sadler studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and in New York. Following appearances in various TV series (“Tatort”, “Wolffs Revier”) and television dramas (“Dresden”), his breakthrough came in the highly praised two-part miniseries “Contergan” in 2007. He played the role of Alfried von Bohlen und Halbach in the 2009 award-winning family chronicle “Krupp - A German Family”. He appeared in “When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit” in 2018 and is currently filming the Netflix series “Tribes of Europa”. Sadler is an ambassador for the foundation “Achtung! Kinderseele”.
