Hygiene and infection prevention plan for lit.COLOGNE 2022
in accordance with the coronavirus legislation in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (in the version applicable as of December 4, 2021).
Version dated December 7, 2021
To ensure that all visitors, employees and contributors can take part in the festival as safely as possible, we work with a comprehensive hygiene and infection prevention plan that is regularly updated and adapted to the coronavirus legislation in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Entry to our events is subject to the 2G rule: Only those who have been vaccinated against or recovered from COVID-19 may participate.
Depending on the currently applicable coronavirus legislation, this may be changed to the 2G PLUS rule, meaning participation is limited to those who are vaccinated or recovered and additionally provide proof of a negative coronavirus test (official rapid antigen test taken within the past 24 hours or a PCR test taken within the past 48 hours). Children and teenagers up to the age of 15 are considered to have the same status as immunized people and also have the same status as tested people due to their participation in the mandatory school testing scheme.
Prior to entry, there will be a check of photo ID as well as supporting documents (confirmation of a diagnosis within the past six months for guests who have recovered from COVID-19, or proof of vaccination – at least 14 days following final vaccination dose – for guests who are fully vaccinated).
The event venues are once again fully booked and no seats are blocked off. Masks are mandatory (medical-grade masks) in all buildings and waiting lines. Depending on the coronavirus legislation applicable at the time of the event, mask wearing may also be mandatory while seated.
Furthermore, we ensure a very high level of traceability so that the authorities can contact attendees and participants as quickly as possible in the event of an infection. To this end, we record the contact data of persons who have booked tickets. Passing on tickets is still possible.
In addition, the generally applicable hygiene rules apply. Please be aware of the typical symptoms associated with a coronavirus infection and only visit our events if you do not have any symptoms.
Please visit our website shortly before you attend the event to ensure you are informed of any changes.
We look forward to your visit!
