About Susanne Weingarten
Born in 1964, Susanne Weingarten obtained a doctorate in American studies and attended the Henri Nannen Journalism School in Hamburg. She is the author and publisher of several non-fiction books. From 1992 until 2001 she was a culture reporter for Der Spiegel and held a European Journalism Fellowship in Berlin. She then spent several years as a freelance author in the USA, including time in Los Angeles and Boston.
