Born in 1969, Stefanie Taschinski studied history, sociology and screenwriting in Hamburg and Berlin. Her children’s books have won numerous awards and been translated into several languages. She is a co-founder of Elbautoren (an organization of authors of children’s and young adult fiction) as well as a writing coach for the “Schulhausroman” project at Literaturhaus Hamburg.
