Sebastian Koch

Sebastian Koch, born 1962, achieved his breakthrough in the Oscar-winning film “The Lives of Others” (Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, 2006). He received the Globo d´Oro, the Quadriga and the Bambi for his role as Georg Dreymann. Koch has appeared in numerous national and international films, including Seven Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies”, Paul Verhoeven’s “Black Book” (2006) and Tom Hooper’s “The Danish Girl” (2015). He is also a regular cast member in the 5th and 6th seasons of the American series “Homeland”. He is a part of the scenic-symphonic reading evenings “Paradise” with Daniel Hope, “Traumnovelle” with the Hubert Nuss Jazz Quartette and “Egmont/Prometheus” with the Vienna Academy Orchestra.
