About Olivia Wenzel
Born in 1985 in Weimar, Olivia Wenzel studied cultural science and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim. She writes theater texts and prose, and makes music as Otis Foulie. Wenzel’s plays have been performed at the Münchner Kammerspiele in Munich, at Hamburg’s Thalia Theater, and at the Deutsches Theater and Ballhaus Naunynstrasse in Berlin. In addition to her writing, she leads text workshops for children and teens. “1000 Coils of Fear” is her first novel. Olivia Wenzel lives and works in Berlin.
